The Ox House Wine Company
Quite why a bloke who looks like a Bretagne waiter should choose to run a Parisien bar in the middle of a small Cotswolds village is anyone's guess.  But there, in the middle of Northleach, is an outpost of France that would warm the escargots of Carla Bruni's heart.  It has a score of different wines by the glass, serves baked Camembert all day and has a wine cave at the back.  It is unique to the Cotswolds and I expect, every other shire in the UK.

 FOOD AT THE OX HOUSE

It has long been our intention to provide good honest food at the Ox House and finally the moment has arrived.    

 We are pleased to announce that we are now offering bistro style lunches in the bar between 12pm – 3pm, and 'casse-croute' in the evenings.  As always here at the Ox House the emphasis is on the authentic which is why we are pleased to have teamed up with Hugo Shuttleworth of Berwyn Events who has created a bespoke selection of stylish homemade dishes for us.   Think more Parisian back street than Cheltenham high street.   The small, seasonal menu of half a dozen mouth-watering options may not immediately appeal to lovers of the deep fat fryer, but once tasted we hope you’ll all be convinced. 

Lunch               12pm - 3pm daily
Casse-croute   12pm - 9pm daily  

THE WINE BARN

So many people have commented on the unique character of the WINE BARN that we have decided to open it up for private functions. 

The Wine Barn provides a highly original space for a huge variety of tailor-made events from drinks parties to shoot lunches through to private dining.   The list doesn’t end there… the Wine Barn is versatile enough to accommodate just about every type of frolic, so just tell us what you want.
